Howdy Ags,

October has arrived and the cool weather that teased us for a few days has disappeared.   With any luck it will soon return and the fall atmosphere will be in full swing. Plenty of Aggie athletics to occupy everyone’s interest, whatever it might be.

Coach ‘G’ and the soccer team had another shut-out at Ellis Field, this time against the Crimson team from T-town. You may also recall that the team was able to shut-out the Bulldogs prior to the football teams victory at Kyle Field. Let’s be optimistic that the string will continue!?!

Both golf teams have been traveling the country for various tournaments, making a promising showing for the program. Volleyball is in the thick of conference play and basketball starts in about 30 days. Hard to believe an entire slate of athletic activities on the horizon.

Of course the game that is on everyone’s mind is Saturday at 2:30 in Kyle Field as the Saban lead ‘Bama’ team comes to town. If you are making the trip over to Aggieland, be sure to leave early as larger than normal crowds are expected. The weather forecast, while possibly a little warm for October, should be ideal for tailgating. With an afternoon game you can start early, enjoy a great game and continue the festivities after. For those not making the trip east we will have our Hullabaloo Huddle (watch party) again and details on that are listed below.

HULLABALOO HUDDLE

If you are unable to make it to College Station this weekend make plans to join fellow Aggies for our watch party at George’s. The patio, as well as the bar, will be full of Ags and heighten the atmosphere as opposed to sitting at home. The Chef is working on something special out of the kitchen and Donny has a ‘bucket of beer’ special that will be perfect for a day on the patio while watching the Aggies BTHO Bama!

WEEKLY EVENTS

Join us this week for our networking lunch at Verdes in Round Rock. Close to IH-35 and easy access should make it easy for many to join us. If you are looking to expand your business network or just discuss Aggie sports, be sure to come out and join us.
