We had an incredible Fish Fry. Our amazing group of volunteers prepared and served 100 lbs of beans, 540 lbs of catfish, 140 lbs of coleslaw, 180 lbs of hush puppies and a huge assortment of homemade desserts to feed over 1000 people, ย inside and through our drive through takeout line. There were some great silent auction items and we raffled off a some great stuff including a deer feeder and a football signed by Jimbo Fisher. As a result of all the hard work from our volunteers and the generous support of our donors, we raised $39,000 to fund scholarships for Williamson County High School students headed to A&M. We also we treated to โPinkyโ Wilsonโs niece play the Aggie War Hymn as she donated a copy of the sheet music signed by โPinkyโ Wilson to the Aggie Band. You can watch a video of on our Facebook page (Fb account not required to view video). If you missed the festivities this year, I hope you consider joining us for Fish Fry 2019 on Friday, June 7, 2019.
