PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Howdy Aggies,

While we still wait for some cooler weather in central Texas, we at least have football underway once again.

Aggie football has shown some strides defensively and the 12th Man came to life against UCLA. There was a lot of positive national coverage regarding the Bruins trip to Aggieland. There were also some very positive articles written by Bruins fan’s who made the trip. Proud that the Aggie Nation showed their true Texas hospitality. They are probably aware now that there is indeed a difference between 50,000 and 100,000 fans in the stands.

As a club, we continue to work toward providing networking opportunities as well social activities that fit varying interest. We are open to suggestions, as well as volunteers, to provide new and fun activities.

We begin SEC play this week with a road game against Auburn. Come out and join other club members as we Huddle to pull for the Aggies and see how our offense performs against a so far impressive Auburn defense.  Hope to see you at Higher Ground (above Lone Star Grille) in Cedar Park for our Hullabaloo Huddle.  www.fb.com/WCAMC/events

WEEKLY EVENTS

We work hard to offer a variety of events in hopes that your schedule will allow you to join as often as possible. We realize everyone is busy but it is always good to take a little time for friends and expand your network. We will continue our ‘THURSDAY’ event schedule, but keep your eyes open for a few twist as we move through the year.

This week we will have our Networking Lunch at Verde’s in Round Rock. Be sure to take a little extra time for lunch to meet some new folks or say HOWDY to familiar faces. Good opportunity for a little Aggie speak and networking at one of our locally AGGIE owned locations.  www.fb.com/WCAMC/events
