Howdy Ags,
Thank you for your patience as we transition the Club Leadership and all its duties this year (this newsletter being one of them). I’m happy to announce that Carlos May ’06 is our new A&M Club President! He’s married to his lovely wife Krystal and they have two spunky daughters.
I’d also be remise if I didn’t take a moment to thank David Schell ’97 for serving as our President the past two years. David now transitions into the role of the role of Immediate Past President on our A&M Club Board and continues to volunteer his time very graciously with the A&M Club and our Foundation.
Thanks to everyone that came out for our inaugural 42 Domino Night at Texadelphia! See a couple pictures below. We had two tables of experienced players and one of newbies just learning the great game of 42. We will be looking to schedule another night in the next couple months, so stay tuned for updates. Thank you to Leslie Houston and Terry Pogue for coming out to provide coaching as needed. They both play regularly with the Austin 42 Club and have a huge heart for keeping the tradition of 42 alive! You may find more information about when and where they play on their Fb Group: fb.com/groups/austin42
