Weekly Newsletter

Howdy Ags,

Annual membership meeting in conjunction with our monthly HOWDY HOUR, Thursday 28 Jan, Gumbo’s North in Georgetown. We will meet upstairs behind the bar, Howdy Hour to begin at 5:30 with the membership meeting starting at 6PM. Gumbo’s will also have a modified menu so feel free to order and eat during the meeting.

We have three (3) at large board positions open at this time. Our club has 5 at large positions on the board and they serve three year terms. This is a good way to be involved in the planning of and direction of the club prior to becoming an officer. The three current positions available are: two – three year terms and one – two year term.

In regards to monthly activities we are seeking a committee chair for our ‘Networking Lunches’, ‘Howdy Hours’ as well as an ‘SEC representative’

Our two largest events are Muster and Fish Fry. There will also be opportunity to assist in these two areas if you are looking to get involved. We will have a Fish Fry committee meeting in the near future and those meetings are always open to our membership to attend.

Muster committee meeting will be 11 February at 7PM following the family night at Double Dave’s. We are looking for a Co-chair that may be interested in taking the lead roll next year. We will also be looking for sub-chairs for check-in / food / decorations. If one of these areas is of particular interest to you please consider stepping in.

If any of these areas interest you please reach out to myself or any of the board members prior to the annual meeting.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY AGGIE MOM’s CLUB
We have been invited to join the club as they host Dr. Ben Welch from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M as their guest speaker. He will start speaking promptly at 6:30 so be sure to arrive early if you want to order dinner. Tuesday, January 26, 6:30PM at Smokey Mo’s in Wolf Ranch Town Center, Georgetown

On the horizon; Next week is already February so we will have our Reveille Breakfast at Rudy’s on Thursday 4 February, beginning at 7AM. Grab a bite to eat in the way to the office and lets talk Aggie sports. Family Night at Double Dave’s will be on Thursday 11 February from 5-7PM. In an effort not to occupy multiple evening as we realize everyone is busy, we will have a MUSTER COMMITTEE MEETING following Family Night at Double Dave’s. In the event you cannot join us for dinner, come out at 7PM as we will be making plans for this years Muster.

We look forward to seeing many new faces as well as all our familiar ones in the coming months.
